Our stylish, private 2-bedroom suite is upstairs and all yours; your own bathroom is downstairs. The unit is separated from our house by a carport where you park your car. You have your own entrance, privacy and your own facilities, plus TV in each room, and a compact kitchen with all crockery and cutlery and a microwave and frypan. We offer garden-fresh, home-made, delicious breakfasts in the house with us, featuring seasonal produce we have grown ourselves, e.g. avocado's, tomatoes, fresh juice, and we make a fantastic Coconut Muesli plus our own Greek Yoghurt to serve with whatever fruit is ready in the garden. As well we tempt you with our delicious preserves. Cost is $160 single night, $150 for 2-night stay, 3rd+ nights less 10% = $135. Dinner by arrangement, family-style 2-course meal $30 BYO, 3-course dinner $50 with wine. Free WiFi available.
We are award-winning hosts and our garden has many times won prizes in Whakatane Pride's annual contests.
You can relax under trees or play petanque, go walking up the no-exit country road or over the farmland hills. The beach is just 5 minutes walk down the road. After a busy day have a relaxing soak in our luxurious outdoor spa pool.
Our outside dog, Mo, is a friendly fox terrier who guards the garden from possums and rabbits. He enjoys playing with children.
Our property is central to Rotorua, Tauranga, White Island, Whakatane and close to the main road (SH2)and beach, but being just off the main traffic highway it is peaceful and quiet and conducive to sleep. This is a very pretty valley and the atmosphere is serene and tranquil.
