At the 100 year old Homestead B & B guests have the choice of two lovely rooms.The Lousia suite is attractively furnished with comfortable queen size bed complete with a wool rest, electric blanket and cuddly duvet. A modern ensuite with heated towel rail compliments the room. Guest robes are provided. The room has its own adjoining private lounge and verandas opening out on to an attractive garden. Guests are able to relax in a private spa pool conveniently located on the north veranda. The Musterer's Hut has comfortable super King bed with stylish bedding, warm duvets and cuddly throws. The welcoming fire place and cosy furnishings provide extra charm. The adjoining ensuite has a modern shower, bath robes, hair-dryer, cuddly towels and complementary soaps. Fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric fry pan and outside BBQ. Sky TV and WIFI are available in the room. Expansive gardens and walkways. Native bird life. River walks-view the round river boulders, swim. Easy farm walking tracks to enjoy the hill views of Canterbury. Or simply unwind in the peace and quiet of the NZ country side. Karetu cottage sleeps 8 and has its own private garden and hill country views. 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin room and one bunk room. Well heated with log burner in the lounge (wood provided) and night store heating in hallway. The house faces the northwest and is positioned well for full sun and looks out into the front garden. It has a spacious dining room and kitchen with the table comfortably seating 8 adults. There is an attached garage which may also be used as a tack shed during your stay or storage for bikes. It is well set up for horses with 2-3 paddocks available and a nearby stable. There is ample parking and turning space for a number of floats. Please note there is no mobile phone coverage but telephone is available at the homestead by request.
