Our Kiwi Homestead is easily found in semi rural Brunswick Park, purpose built with the descerning traveller in mind and a great base from which to explore the wonders of Rotorua

124onbrunswick bed and breakfast was purpose built as a bed and breakfast in 2003. This architectually designed and award winning kiwi Hometead is set in 2 acres of rural Brunswick Park. We can be easily be found just 5 mins from the airport and 20 mins from the city centre of Rotorua by car.

Your Hosts Lindsey and Jonathan Barran have lived and worked in Rotorua for 45 years and have travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and the world. They would be delighted to help or give advice on your travel plans.

Jonathan is a professional photographer with his work shown in the gallery, guest rooms and reading room. He is very happy to give information on great photographic sites throughout NZ.

Jonathan is a professional photographer with 40 years experience specialising in environmental and commercial photography. He would be delighted to give you information on good photographic locations in Rotorua and throughout NZ. Examples of his work are displayed throughout the homestead.

Jonathan and Lindsey are committed to quality service and sustainable tourism. Qualmark is NZ's Tourism official mark of quality. Our bed and breakfast has been independently assessed against a set of national quality standards that have been developed with you, the guest, in mind. It identifies a professional, quality assured and trustworthy accommodation and service.

This room is in the colour of the sea and sky. There is a series of photographs on the walls depicting TE MOANA taken on the Coromandel Coast by Jonathan. It has a King bed and ensuite bathroom. With indoor/outdoor flow in mind French doors open back onto a private covered wrap-around verandah with an outdoor sitting area that overlooks the front of the property and the vista beyond of Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and the city beyond. All bedrooms enjoy the same facilities with the emphasis on comfort and freshness. The beds and linen are of high quality and there is a selection of pillows to help ensure a good night’s sleep. The rooms are equipped with clock radio/alarms, electric blankets, hairdryers, heaters, robes and a closet for storage.

There is a series of photographs on the walls depicting TE WHENUA, the rocks and trees of Castle Rock seen as you drive over Arthurs Pass in the South Island and were taken by Jonathan. In this room there is Queen bed and King Single bed and ensuite bathroom. With indoor/outdoor flow in mind French doors open back onto a covered wrap-around verandah with an private outdoor sitting area which overlooks the side of the property and the vista of native bush and forest beyond. All bedrooms enjoy the same facilities with the emphasis on comfort and freshness. The beds and linen are of high quality and there is a selection of pillows to help ensure a good night’s sleep. The rooms are equipped with clock radio/alarms, electric blankets, hairdryers, heaters, robes and a closet for storage.
