Located on a working kiwifruit orchard, Ashfields is only 60 minutes from Tauranga and Rotorua and 20 minutes from Whakatane.

We offer luxury self-contained accommodation comprising a generous bedroom with private lounge, kitchenette, and ensuite. French doors from the bedroom open to a private deck with BBQ facilities.

A choice of self-serve continental or cooked breakfasts is available. We can provide self serve BBQ hampers, light meals or dinners as you require.

You are free to wander the garden, use the pool or play petanque as the mood takes you. If you are interested Russ will be pleased to take you on a tour of the orchard.

The Whakatane district offers much to do. There are three golf courses within 15 minutes of Ashfields and a number of fine bush and beach walks a little further on. The attractive Whakatane township has a good range of choices in shopping, cafes and restaurants. It is also the base for trips to White Island, the only active off-shore volcano in NZ.
