House of Pania BnB
48 Lighthouse Road, Napier
PLEASE CONTACT THIS PROPERTY DIRECT TO BOOK.
High on the Napier Bluff, the House of Pania BnB is nestled in a large coastal garden with unimpeded sea and port views. The house is named after the Maori mermaid, Pania, with her reef being best seen from the clifftop at low tide. Opening out to an inground pool the suite has been carefully decorated with just a little magic in mind. Enjoy the shuttered Kit Kemp-inspired bedroom or the coastal vibe of the tongue and groove room with a view over the pool and out to sea. Take a swim or choose a book from the 800 book library and sink into a bathtub or sun lounger for some well-earned me-time.
The details
Breakfast at Pania
Pania is a sleep-in kind of place so feel free to request your breakfast at a time that suits you, if you are an early bird and want to eat with the sunrise that's fine too.
Bathing at Pania
The inground swimming pool(seasonal) is for your exclusive use - check out the weir's handmade tiles depicting reef life.
Also available is an outdoor bath especially positioned in the upper garden among grape and passionfruit vines and citrus fruit trees. From there you can view the Pacific Ocean and pick lavender to drop into your water. In the evening relax and listen out for the ruru's hoot.
Getting to and from Pania
If you are driving there is plenty of parking and free EV charging. Airport shuttles and taxis are available and current Uber prices are approximately $26 Pania to the airport and $10 Pania to Napier's Art Deco City Centre.
