Mangawhai Lodge is perched on a hill at Mangawhai Heads on Northland's picture post card east coast.

Mid way between Auckland Airport and the Bay of Islands (2 hours each way) Mangawhai Lodge is the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation to recover from long haul flights.

We offering a stylish relaxed environment with beaches, walkways, cafes, galleries, museums and vineyards nearby.

We off a mix of two self catering apartments and two stylish B&B guest rooms. Most rooms offer spectacular sea views of the Mangawhai Harbor and island of the Gulf. The Par 3 Accessible Apartment does not have sea views.

Please note we have minimum night weekend and public holiday period stays over summer.

The Beachcomber B&B guest room is on the 1st floor of Mangawhai lodge. This cosy room has a queen bed with a small en-suite bathroom, the room opens to a veranda with seating and chairs to enjoy spectacular sea views. The room has a flat screen TV, heating in winter and fans in summer. Breakfast is included in the tariff and there is off street parking for one car and free WIFI. The Beachcomber B&B room has an allocated fridge with tea and coffee making facilities in the communal area. The 2 B&B rooms share a TV/reading room and a separate spacious lounge.
