  Our bed and breakfast, Waipiata, is a unique, luxury experience. Just 30 minutes north of Auckland and designed by internationally renowned architect Noel Lane, this lodge is resting on a rural headland, nestled in native trees at the waters’s edge. It is a secluded location to rest or to kayak, swim and hike and yet close to beautiful regional parks and beaches, Goat Island marine reserve, Tititiri Matangi bird sanctuary, Tawharanui bird and marine sanctuary, Pakiri Beach, Puhoi historic Bohemian village, sculpture parks and Matakana vineyards.
  
  We have two guest rooms and one self contained (breakfast provided) studio. There is a large 20 metre pool, a firepit, boardwalks, kayaks, bush and farm trails.
  In the main house, the guest rooms are super king or twin, luxurious and beautifully appointed, the floor to ceiling glass walls and large private decks highlighting the proximity of the water, native bush and birdlife. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms with heated mirrors and heated towel rails, bathrobes and luxurious natural toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities and home baking.

Mon Logis is one of the building who survive the 1931 Hawke's Bay Earthquake. In 1991 it became Mon Logis - Meaning "My Dwelling.
  
  Now lovingly renovated, Mon Logis will cater to a maximum of eight guests and is modelled on the small privately owned French Hotel. Charm personal service and French cuisine are the specialities. Of the upstairs individually furnished rooms, two have queen size beds and two have twin beds and all have their own private facilities.
  
  Owner, Frenchman Gerard decorated each guest room differently but in a style in Keeping with the original charm of the building. Iron bedsteads,feather duvets,lace covers and fine cotton linen all create a special elegance and one room is totally furnished with pieces bought from France.

  PACIFIC VIEW is a small boutique B&B offering quality accommodation. It is in a spectacular location on the Coromandel Peninsula and offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, offshore islands and overlooking the town of Whangamata.
  
  Within this lovely contemporary home guests have a choice of two rooms accessed by an elevator. The Pacific King ensuite room is on the top floor and has its own wrap-around balcony with fabulous views and king size bed. Located at ground level, the Coromandel room has a queen size bed with a large ensuite bathroom. As you sit in the comfy bucket chairs in front of the stacker/sliding windows, you can enjoy the views out to sea. There is also a third smaller room, the Pacific Queen Room, located on the middle level, just off the lounge. This room is not usually available for booking however if you are travelling with another person (a teenager or additional adult), please contact us for availability and rates. It is a small, compact room (priced accordingly), light and bright and sunny in the mornings, with a small side view of the ocean. A private bathroom is located just outside the room.
  
  Breakfasts are a celebration at Pacific View and are included in the tariff. Options change every day but you could expect to see on the menu: delicious fresh fruit, Kathryn's own homemade Macadamia muesli, Bacon and free range eggs, Eggs Benedict, Flapjacks, Waffles, Scrambled eggs - the choice is yours.

  Kameni Cottage is a cute self-contained cottage with plenty of parking available - there is a wood burner, a king size bed, which can also be made into two king single beds, there is also small oven, hotplate, microwave, jug and fridge for your use. The cottage is set slightly away from the main house on our 4 hectare property only 1 hours drive from Wellington and 40 minutes to Palmerston North - just off State Highway 1.
  
  The property has plums and avocados and apples, everything here is spray and pesticide free - sometimes a little scruffy as we like to keep the bees feed.
  
  We harvest the rain water and all our hot water is solar heated. In the summer enjoy a dip in our solar heated salt water pool or in winter relax in the spa and watch the stars.
  
  There are plenty activities to so in Te Horo - pop into the Outlet Shops in Otaki - just 5 minutes drive or take a class at Ruth Pretty's Cooking School.
